Here we have a Colt Single Action Army .45, Commercial, made in the 100th Anniversary of the United States 1876. It is an excellent example in appearance. the 7-1/2inch barrel, .45 Caliber, Walnut Grips, BUT nickel finish, rather than Blue& Case Color. The nickel process was still new to Colt, and many were sent to Adams Plating, then back to Colt. Serial No. 3250X, may well be one of them. I have not sent for a letter, however it might be interesting for the new owner to get a Colt Letter. This Old Timer came out of Texas, and has that Western used Look, on the Range in Texas. Mechanically, it is 100% correct in EVERY Working Action !! ALL Factory Applied markings are present and clear. Barrel Address, Frame Patent( 2 line 72) , caliber, ALL MATCHING Serial Numbers. The finish today is about 35% original nickel plate, distributed on the revolver. Strong on cylinder , back strap, Trigger guard edge, and parts of barrel. The balance is a soft PLUM untouched original patina. the Walnut grips have no damage, and show only normal hand usage AN HONEST TEXAS USED SINGLE ACTION, with a charismatic appearance.
